We’ve been a bit quiet on the work front recently. Not in terms of work coming in (despite what the doom and gloom merchants are saying about the economy we seem to be busier than ever), but we’ve been a bit quiet in terms of work going out.
This is always the way when we work on more technical projects, as they take longer to do so the gaps between launches are further apart. Needless to say, we’ve been beavering away behind the scenes on several more technical projects for a number of months now, which is good news from a business perspective, but doesn’t give us a lot to shout about in between launches!
The times they are a’changing as Bob used to say. We’re now approaching the finishing post for a few sites which we think are quite special, and the first one has just launched for Cornwall & Devon Media to promote their advertising service. It’s part of their existing site, and can be seen here.
We storyboarded the entire site, worked up a range of concept designs, developed the final version, did the art direction on the video production, managed two rounds of public usability testing which we facilitated, and finally put the site through our Slightly Different QA process which ensures that our work doesn’t fall over when under pressure, and this site will definitely be under pressure.
For Cornwall & Devon Media, part of the Northcliffe Group, this will help other businesses to easily place their advertising. For us, this is advertising.
