I saw a tender requirement today which was amusing. While we provide a range of different services to our clients, and our work is worthy of the gods, this one might require some real divine intervention!
Liverpool City Council on behalf of the Culture Company invites suitably qualified organisations to quote for the provision of artificial snow effects in the City Centre on 27th November 2008. The event starts at approx 5pm with the arrival of the Lord Mayor and Santa, falling snow is required for approx 80mins. The location is Parker Street/Church Street Liverpool.
Maybe this is how the Met Office predict the weather. I think we should be told.
